Probably one of the country’s oldest department stores, House of Fraser or Kendals as it’s locally known, is an imposing city landmark and I enjoy shopping there whenever possible! It’s a useful place to consider if you have got the children and are after an easy, stress-free lunch in the city centre.
Situated on the same floor as children’s clothing, this well-sized restaurant offers a wide range of hot and cold food for children, all priced at £3.95, including a dessert and drink. The lunch boxes looked super and you can also buy the items separately. The big bonus though is the Kids Zone – a little area of the restaurant given over to a few toys, chalkboard and a television, which was playing Peppa Pig to a happy bunch of three year olds when I was last in.
