In spite of being a national chain, every branch of Piccolino in the north west has a completely different look and feel about it and consistently delivers good food to the table. Their menu offers an interesting choice of both modern and classic Italian dishes and they now have kids’ choices too.
They were extremely welcoming of our lot when we popped along for an early tea. Will opted for calamari (£2.50) and then a pizza (£5) whilst little Ellie went for a kids-sized spaghetti carbonara which cost £6.50. All the food was delicious and it was a successful evening out en famille! I took along colouring pads for the children so they amused themselves for enough time for us all to eat happily. Inevitably it was not a cheap night out, but I like the fact that if you fancy quality Italian food then Piccolino is a family option.
